Alan Richards has been songwriting and recording music for over 40 years. He was a band member in the late 60's 'beat era' in Liverpool, playing the world famous Cavern Club amongst others. He was signed to Valley Music Publishers in London, ATV Music Publishers and a recording Artiste for AIR London Studios in Oxford Street. He was produced by Peter Sullivan (Tom Jones producer), Ronnie Scott (Bonnie Tyler, Lulu and the Casuals) and later became A&R Manager at Liverpool Sound Enterprises before starting Liverpool's first record label 'Stag Music'. Later he became Manager to many artistes including 'Buster' (No 1 in Japan), Bonnie Tyler (MightyMusic), Marc Drew (Frank Skinner show), Wendi Windsor (Patsy Cline tribute). Since 1995 he has been recording and producing Educational Music Projects around the Country, explaining the music industry and performance to schools. He has just gained a Master of Arts Degree (with merit) at Liverpool Hope University in Popular Music Studies and Society and is currently lecturing and researching a biography on Legendary Australian record producer David Mackay (30 No 1 hits , TV themes and musicals).
