About the song...

India Simpson
25 years ago, Ring Out The Bells was recorded by four Herefordshire Primary Schools. It was borne out of an idea from the head teacher of Bredenbury Primary School, who requested that I write a song for Christmas. Since then, over 20,000 school children have sung and performed the song, in my educational musical projects, throughout the UK.
To mark this anniversary, we are releasing a Charity Single to raise funds during the coronavirus pandemic lockdown for Hereford, Worcester and Bromyard food banks for Christmas 2020. As part of the 25th Anniversary release, we are also including the original recording from 1995, as a bonus track for free.
Artists featured on the 2020 track: International singers - Wendi Black, John Parr, Lorraine Crosby and local schoolgirl from Brockhampton Primary School, India Simpson aged 10.
(For every download/CD purchased: £2.00 will be donated to Hereford, Worcester and Bromyard food banks. Hard-Copy CD's of the single can be purchased from this website for £4.99. Please contact us on the contact form for further information.)
Music Produced by David Mackay, Written by Alan Richards and Ian Lynn (C) 2020.
Merry Christmas to all
